Lara Ehrlich is the author of the short story collection Animal Wife, forthcoming from Red Hen Press. Animal Wife won Red Hen’s Fiction Award, judged by Ann Hood.

Lara’s writing appears in StoryQuarterly, Hunger Mountain, The Massachusetts Review, The Normal School, and River Styx, among others. She has been nominated for a 2020 Pushcart Prize and has attended the Bread Loaf and Tin House Writers’ Workshops. She has received scholarship support from the Vermont Studio Center, the Glen East Workshop, and the Midwest Writers Workshop.

Lara lives in Boston, Massachusetts, where she is a senior editor at Boston University.
